Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This customer was having persistent moisture issues in their crawl space. The crawl space was constantly wet. They were concerned that it was because it was not fully insulated. They wanted a solution to this ongoing issue.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment for the crawl space in their home. We had a Specialist visit the property and they proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with a crawl space encapsulation for their home from Olympic Restoration Systems.

This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems with concerns about the damp crawl space that had musty, moldy smells coming from it, up into the house. Their crawl space always flooded after any heavy rains that they got. The crawl space did not drain the rainwater well and sat in pools of water in the crawl space for long periods of time. This resulted in the insulation in the crawl space to sag. They also noticed that their floors were not level and wanted to know if this was because of the wet crawl space.

This is an existing customer for Olympic Restoration System who had a crawl space encapsulation. He had some rats get into his crawl space and chew through the encapsulation liner. Due to the holes in the liner, he thought that there may have been some mold growth before he noticed the holes.

Olympic Restoration Systems sent out the Specialist that had worked with this customer previously for the encapsulation. He did an assessment of the damage done in the crawl space and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with the needed repairs for the encapsulation liner, as well as a precautionary action for mold and traditional maintenance for the crawl space.

This homeowner called upon referral from other homeowners in his area that had a crawl space remediation from Olympic Restoration Systems. He was having issues with cold hardwood floors, energy inefficiency, and insect infestations coming from his crawl space. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, to the home for a free inspection and estimate. Ross found that the current insulation in the crawl space was falling and that there were moisture issues in the crawl space attracting insects. Ross proposed a full crawl space encapsulation system, which included drainage matting, moisture barrier, sump pump, and dehumidifier. This system also involved closing off all outside air into the crawl space, which would help with the cold floors and insect issues. The homeowner accepted the proposal and proceeded with the work from Olympic Restoration Systems. After completion of the crawl space remediation, the homeowner was so pleased that he left a 5-star review on our website.

This customer had very high humidity in their crawlspace. It had become so bad that there was condensation building up and dripping. They were concerned with the dampness of their crawl space and the issues that the humidity could present in the future. 

We came in and removed old, sagging insulation and regreded the crawl space. We then installed a condensate pump, drainage matting, EZ Flow drainage system, a sump pump, a dehumidifier and Clean Space Lining. The home owner can now enjoy a clean, healthy crawl space for many years to come!
