Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

 This customer noticed an intermittent noise coming from their crawl space. They said that their air conditioning unit was outside, so that was not what was causing the noise that they were hearing. They wanted a professional to come out and look at their crawl space to find the source of the noise, and to see what could be done to improve the health of their crawl space.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their home. We had a System Designs Specialist visit the property and the noise was found to be a faulty crawl space fan. The Specialist proposed a solution to fix their crawl space and prevent mold from growing in it. The customer proceeded with a crawl space encapsulation for their home from Olympic Restoration Systems.

This customer called Olympic Restoration Systems with a concern about mold that they thought that they had around the shower area. About 6 months prior, they had another company out for the same reason. That company informed the customer that it was not mold. They had another issue in their home, in the crawl space. So they had another company over to inspect their crawl space for that issue and fix it. During that inspection, they found mold around the shower above the crawl space. She said that they did not have a lot of ventilation in the area. They thought the lack of ventilation in the crawl space was causing mold to grow in the house. They needed a reputable company to come out for an inspection/assessment of their crawl space, and offer them some solutions prevent future mold growth.

This customers home was built in the 1950’s. They have a crawl space that he said that their crawl space would let the cold into the area and keep nothing out of the space. He has several different size vent openings to the crawl space and was getting tired and frustrated in trying to find covers that would work on the openings that would do what he wanted them to do to ensure that the environment in the crawl space was optimal for their home. They wanted to permanently seal up their crawl space.
