This homeowner called after he recently purchased a 1950s home. The home had a vented crawl space that he was concerned was the source of problems with energy, comfort, and humidity. He wanted to find a way to improve the energy efficiency of his home, along with keeping the pipes that run through the crawl space warm in the winter. He also wanted a crawl space solution that would reduce the humidity in his home, and keep his floors warmer in the winter.
We sent one of our crawl space specialitsts, Ross, to the home for a free crawl space estimate. After assessing the property, Ross proposed a free crawl space repair quote to the homeowner. The homeowner accepted, and proceeded with a crawl space remediation from Olympic Restoration Systems.
We sent our professionally trained production team to the property to begin the crawl space encapsulation process. They removed debris, regraded the soil, sealed the crawl space from outside air, placed a drainage matting, installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier and SmartSump sump pump, and finally placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space.
This apartment complex had foundation work done that was causing moisture to build up under the staircase. Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted to install a sump pump in this area to continually rid the area of any moisture issues. After meeting with one of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, the owner of the building accepted the estimate and proceeded with the sump pump installation.
This homeowner called because he was tired of the floors of his pier and beam home being cold, and he felt like his HVAC system was constantly running. He wondered if there was a solution for his crawl space that would keep his entire home at a more comfortable temperature. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, to the home for a free crawl space repair estimate. Ross inspected the crawl space and offered the homeowner a solution. The homeowner accepted the proposal and proceeded with a full crawl space encapsulation system that would insulate his crawl space from Olympic Restoration Systems.
