  • Emergency water cleanup
  • Fire damage restoration

Moisture that is left unchecked can cause structural damage and problems with mold. Don’t hesitate — call us for thorough, professional disaster recovery services in your neighborhood.

In addition to long-term humidity control, we offer thorough mold removal for commercial and residential properties in Johnson County, TX. We remove any visible mold in addition to employing deeper removal methods that prevent regrowth. To keep moisture levels down and maintain a drier environment, we install the super effective Aspen Air Purifier that covers up to 1,500 sq. feet. Unlike other air purifiers, the Aspen does not emit ozone and only improves your indoor air quality. With easy-change-filters and the ability to remove over 99.97% of particles from the air, the Aspen is right for you.

Effective Radon Gas Mitigation

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and is in every U.S. state, including TX. Radon is odorless, invisible, and impossible to detect without specialized equipment. Radon is also not limited to basements — we can find elevated radon levels in rooms as high as the second story. Fortunately, Olympic Restoration Systems is Johnson County’s qualified radon mitigation company, offering radon testing, radon mitigation, and other indoor air quality solutions.

If you’ve never had your home tested for radon, then you should schedule a test as soon as possible. Different factors can impact radon levels in the home, including the source of the radon, how many floors are in the home, whether you keep your windows open often, and the stack effect. We can explain all of these factors to you and install a radon mitigation system that is compatible with the current waterproofing system in your basement or crawl space.

Our team was contacted to remediate. We first set up a containment area with negative air fans. HVAC Duct Cleaning and Mold Removal from Ducts in Grandview, TX

This customer comes to us as a referral from one of our many satisfied customers. They were in the middle of doing some renovations. During that process, the found that they had an issue with their HVAC. There was an odd smell that they just couldn’t seem to get rid of, no matter what they did. They wanted to have the duct work thoroughly cleaned.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their home. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with an HVAC duct cleaning.

We removed the air registers and cleaned them with an EPA register antimicrobial solution. We cleaned the ducts using a negative air system combined with compressed air whips to break the mold and debris free from the duct. With this type of air duct cleaning, each duct is attached to a powerful negative air machine which draws 3500 cubic feet per minute through the duct and into the system. The system has three stages of filters with the last one being a HEPA filter which assures nothing is released into the home. With the negative air machine running small lines were pushed through the ducts. The lines have small rubber whips on the end and the 175-psi compressor, which sits outside the house during the process, forcing air through the whips. The whips move around very quickly to break up the dust, dirt, and spores free from the duct. The air registers were replaced at the completion of the duct cleaning.
