Mold Remediation in Colleyville
Challenge
These homeowners were tired of the rapidly spreading mold in their home as they found it in the garage, pantry, laundry room, and bedroom closet. They called our team in to inspect their home and find any other areas of the home that might also contain mold.
Solution
After searching the home and seeing that the mold was contained to only these spaces, our team tackled each space with the same plan, which began with containing the infected areas with plastic sheeting to prevent mold spores from entering the air in the rest of the house. Next, we removed and disposed of all the damaged drywall and shelving and anything else that could not be salvaged. Then, we utilized a HEPA vacuum to clean the air and the remaining mold in each area. Finally, we wiped down the walls with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution to finish off the cleaning process and prevent future mold growth.
