Challenge
After hearing of their neighbor's problems with crawl space mold, these homeowners contacted us for a free evaluation. It turned out they had the same issues as their neighbors.
Solution
First, our team applied Mold-X2 mold killer and stain remover to all the beams, base plates, floor joists, subfloor, and wooden building materials in the crawl space. Next, we installed a SmartPipe perimeter drainage system in crawl space, along with a SmartSump pump system with liner, cast iron pump, CleanPump Stand, airtight lid with an airtight floor drain, and WaterWatch alarm system. A condensate pump was attached to the dehumidifier to distribute the collected moisture to the sump pump, along with two dedicated circuits for the operation of the sump pump, dehumidifier, and condensate pump. We then covered the floor and joists with CleanSpace Drainage Matting and a CleanSpace liner. These homeowners now know their home is safe from issues related to a damp crawl space.
