This homeowner called because he was tired of the hardwood floors in his home being cold, and he also felt like his HVAC system was running more than it should keep the home at a comfortable temperature. He wanted to find a way to warm up his floors and to help the energy efficiency in his home. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists to the home for a free estimate, and he found that both issues were stemming from the crawl space of the home. The solution was to fully close off outside air to the crawl space and fully encapsulate it. The homeowner accepted the proposal and proceeded with a full crawl space encapsulation system from Olympic Restoration Systems.
