Crawl Space Remediation in Crowley, TX

Challenge

This customer called stating he had two large, different crawl spaces under his home. He said one of them was somewhat sealed, but he noticed condensation in the crawl space. One of the crawl spaces had a liner, but it was not working properly. He also noted that rodents were able to get into one of the crawl spaces.

Solution

We sent one of our System Design Specialist to the property to assess the crawl spaces. After accepting the proposal that the specialist offered, we began by removing debris from the crawl spaces and regrading the soil to keep water from pooling in certain areas. We then installed a SmartSump sump pump to remove water from the crawl spaces, and placed drainage matting on the crawl space floor. Next we installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier to isolate the home from the earth. We sealed any areas that would allow animals to come in, and then installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to dry any moisture in the air.
