Waterproofing in Garland
Challenge
This homeowner was frustrated by rain caused water leakage in the kitchen and garage of the home. We were contacted to problem-solve the best way to water proof these affected areas.
Solution
The first step our team made was to remove the lower two feet of studs to get down to the foundation wall that had been leaking. Once this area had been exposed, the wall and a foot of the ground were etched to ensure a complete application of the waterproofing agent. Any holes or cracks were then filled with a Liquid Rubber Base to prevent water intrusion. Next, we applied two coats of the Permaflex waterproofing coating to both the wall and the ground next to it. Finally, we used new wood to rebuild the wall.
