This home had moisture issues beneath the home that were affecting the rest of the home. Part of the area under the home was a crawl space, and the other part was a basement. There were two old sump pumps in the basement area that were not able to keep up with the amount of moisture collecting beneath the home. One of our System Designs Specialists, Ross, designed a solution to keep the entire area beneath the home dry by combining our crawl space encapsulation system and basement waterproofing system.

After Basement Waterproofing

We replaced the old sump pump with a SmartSump sump pump. This is a closed system that keeps moisture from escaping once collected in the pump. We also lined the walls with a CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent water vapor from collecting in the air from the brick walls. And we also installed a WaterGuard track along the floor to collect moisture from underneath the vapor barrier and lead it to the sump pump.
