Crawl Space Remediation in Dallas, TX

Challenge

A builder called and inquired about having someone come for a free estimate for his crawl space. He was interested in having a crawl space repair and crawl space encapsulation. We sent one of our System Designs Specialists, Tyler, to the property for a free crawl space estimate. After assessing the crawl space, Tyler found evidence of moisture issues. He presented a solution for the crawl space to the builder, and the builder proceeded with a crawl space encapsulation from Olympic Restoration Systems.

Solution

The production team started by removing debris from the crawl space and regrading the soil. Next, they placed a SmartSump to drain water away from the crawl space. Next, they placed drainage matting underneath a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the crawl space floor to isolate the home from the earth. Finally, they placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space to dry any moisture from the air.
