Crawl Space Remediation in Dallas, TX

Challenge

This homeowner called stating that his pier and beam home was constantly feeling humid. He was concerned that the humidity might be coming from a moisture problem in the crawl space. We sent a System Designs Specialist, Ross, to assess his crawl space. Ross found evidence of a moisture problem in the crawl space, and presented a solution to encapsulate the crawl space to the homeowner. The homeowner accepted the proposal and proceeded with a crawl space remediation from Olympic Restoration Systems.

Solution

The production team started by removing debris from the crawl space and regrading the soil. Next, they placed a SmartSump to drain water away from the crawl space. Next, they placed drainage matting underneath a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the crawl space floor to isolate the home from the earth. Finally, they placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space to dry any moisture from the air.
