Crawl Space Remediation in Cedar Hill, TX

Challenge

This customer called stating the he just recently purchased the home and found that he believed there was mold in the crawl space from a plumbing leak. He also believed that there may be mold in his house. We sent a System Designs Specialist, Ross, to the home for a free estimate. Ross found evidence of a moisture problem in the crawl space and presented the homeowner with a proposal to fix the crawl space. The home owner accepted and proceeded with a crawl space remediation from Olympic Restoration Systems.

Solution

The production team started by removing debris from the crawl space and regrading the soil. Next, they placed a SmartSump to drain water away from the crawl space. Next, they placed drainage matting underneath a CleanSpace vapor barrier on the crawl space floor to isolate the home from the earth. Finally, they placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space to dry any moisture from the air.
