Crawl Space Remediation in Frisco, TX

Challenge

This customer called and stated that she had about 3 inches of water in her crawl space after rain. She believed it was all groundwater and was fearful that mold would grow. She scheduled an appointment with one of our System Designs Specialist, Tyler, and he visited her property for an assessment. After inspection, Tyler gave a proposal to the homeowner for a crawl space encapsulation system, and she accepted.

Solution

The production team started by removing debris from the crawl space and regrading the soil. They then placed a SmartSump plus to drain the water, and placed a drainage matting on the crawl space floor so that water could flow to the sump pump. Next they placed CleanSpace vapor barrier over the drainage matting and wrapped the piers and walls with CleanSpace. They closed off any outside air from entering the crawl space, and placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to dry any moisture from the crawl space air.
