Mold Remediation in Southlak

Challenge
This storage closet had a large water stain on the wall and ceiling that had begun to grow mold. The homeowners called our team in to solve the issue.
Solution
First, we enclosed the work area to prevent mold spores from spreading into the house and threatening the air quality. We also installed an air scrubber within the enclosure to filter the air and throughout the cleaning process. Next, we disposed of the drywall that had visible mold damage, along with an extra two feet of wall around that area to ensure we removed every part that had been affected. We then used a HEPA vacuum to trap all the tiny particles of mold that may not have been visible. Finally, we cleaned the exposed area with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution.
