Mold Cleaning and Encapsulation

Challenge

When a plumber noticed mold in these homeowners crawl space, they turned to our team to help. 

Solution

We started by removing the mold and treating the crawl space with an antimicrobial. To help keep the home safe from continued moisture problems, they decided to encapsulate. 

First, we removed all the debris from the crawl space. Afterward, we installed al SmartSump pump system with liner, cast iron pump, CleanPump Stand, airtight lid with airtight floor drain and WaterWatch alarm system. Two SaniDry Sedonas were installed to keep humidity low. Additionally, a small pump was used to move water from the dehumidifier to the sump pump. Two wireless sensors were installed in the crawl spaces to send temperature and humidity readings to a small panel inside the house. Lastly, we encapsulated the crawl space using CleanSpace Drainage Matting and a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. 

These homeowners were relieved to know crawl space moisture would no longer be damaging their home.
