Mold Remediation in Ponder Texas
Challenge
There was mold in the garage of this home. The mold was not thought to be an issue until it was seen in the adjoining dining room. Once mold is found in the living areas of the home a certified mold inspector is required. We scheduled a mold inspector to come test the home and once we recieved confirmation of all the affected areas we began work.
Solution
We started with removing the drywall between each room. Luckliy no furniture was effected so we only needed to remove it so that we could contain the area. Once all of the drywall that was affected was removed we started containment of the area. The dinningroom needed to be quarantined off so that we could set up negative air fans to pull the mold spores out and dry the room. After we dried the room we wiped it down with an antimicrobial. The dining room was then re-tested to assure mold was properly removed.
