Mold Remediation in The Colony Texas
Challenge
At this location homeowner's had bought the home and were looking into making sure their new home was healthy. They suspected mold as there was an odd smell throughout the home so they had a mold inspector check their HVAC system. They had high levels of spores throughout the home so we came in with a plan to rid their HVAC system of mold and give them a healthy new living environment.
Solution
The solution was to establish a containment barrier so that we could make each section of the home more manageable. We then installed negative air fans/ air scrubbers and allowed them to run inside the containment area for 24 hours. We then wiped down each room with an anti-microbial and cleaned the ducts and air registers. After cleaning the home we had a second inspection done to make sure the spore levels were at a suitable level for occupancy.
