Seagoville TX Water Restoration
Challenge
This homeowner had a roof leak that was not attended to quickly enough. In addition to the leak in the roof the humidity levels in the home were very high. This is a prime environment for mold to thrive in which is what happened in this case.
Solution
When we were called in for the job we quickly had an inspector come out to test the mold. Once the results were in we removed all furniture and disposed of cabinets and any contents that could not be cleaned including 3000 sq. ft. of flooring and 3500 sq. ft. of drywall and panelling. We then erected limited containments and divided out the building into work areas to better tackle the entire home. Once the home had been separated into more managable units we exhausted the rooms outdoors and installed dehumidifiers in order to properly dry the interior. Once the home was dry we wiped down all the surfaces with an EPA registered fungicide.
