Mold Remediation in Denton, TX
Challenge
Roof leaks in a large commercial building caused mold to grow in five large rooms and the HVAC. An inspector was contacted and the sources of mold identified. The owners called on the team at Olympic Restoration Systems to help.
Solution
Our team set up containment barriers in each of the rooms and installed scrubbers. The exposed non-porous contents were cleaned with an EPA registered antimicrobial solution and HEPA vacuumed. All exposed porous items were removed for disposal. The exposed cavities were then HEPA vacuumed and wiped down with an antimicrobial solution and sealed with an antimicrobial coating. All of the HVAC units, ducts, boots, and air registers were cleaned using a negative air system combined with compressed air whips, leaving the owners satisfied that their building was safe and mold free.
